Eyelash Extensions OR Lash Lift?

Lash Lift

A Lash Lift is a treatment that replaces the need to use an eyelash curler and creates the illusion of longer lashes. Our technician will clean your lashes, glue down a silicone shield onto your upper lid, apply adhesive to that shield, lift your lashes up onto the silicone shield, and then apply the odorless, non-damaging lash lift product to your lashes. Lash Lifts are great for clients who have use a curler daily due to straight lashes. Before the treatment begins, our technician will customize the curl shape based on your natural lash length, how you like to style them, and your curl preference. A lash lift treatment takes about 45 minutes, lasts for up to 8 weeks, and mascara can be used in conjunction.

Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash Extensions are made of synthetic material (we use silk and mink) and are applied individually to each viable natural lash. The extensions applied are black or black/brown eliminating the need to wear mascara. Thicker extensions are applied one extension per natural lash (classic set) while thinner lashes can be applied 3-8 extensions per natural lash (volume set). Our technicians number one concern is your lash health. When the correct weight and length of extension is used we eliminate the risk of damage to the natural lashes. Due to this we are vigilant about making sure our clients have all the information and tools to keep their eyelash extensions looking amazing for years and years!

Which One Is Right For Me?

A lash lift will not create texture, add color, contour and shape, or add dimension to your eyes. Its main purpose is to curl your natural lashes and you must have at least a 4mm lash to get the service. Although you may still need to use eye makeup (i.e. mascara) with a lash lift, it’s a nice boost for the lashes. Extensions, on the other hand, can add length, change the shape of your eye, create volume, and can be customized. Extensions can have more of a WOW factor or look completely natural making others wonder how you got so lucky to have such amazing lashes. Eyelash extensions not only look beautiful, but they also cut your morning routine down by a lot, and who doesn’t want more timesavers in their life?
